Preferred Collection:
2ml Saliva Sample in Oragene saliva collection kit, 4ml Whole Blood in EDTA
Saliva collection: Codex-provided saliva kit (2 mL). Follow the enclosed instructions; do not eat, drink, or smoke for 30 minutes before collection. Buccal swab collection: Codex-provided buccal swabs (4 swabs required). Rub each swab firmly on the inside of the cheek for 30 seconds.
Shipping Instructions:
- Order your kit online and receive it at your door.
- Register the barcode on the sample tube at codexgenetics.com before collecting.
- Collect saliva using the provided swab — avoid food, drink, or smoking 30 minutes prior.
- Seal the tube and place in the pre-paid return envelope.
- Mail the kit to Codex Genetics Laboratory (Unit 220, 2/F, Building 16W, HKSTP, Pak Shek Kok, NT). Results are available securely on the Codex website within 6 weeks of receipt.
